Giving up hope that spinning beachball will ever go away

I was a bout to start a new thread about this issue before finding this one on it.

During the holidays, I finally had the time to upgrade to Mavericks. I'm loving it for the most part but it does have a few glitches, one of them being the spinning beachball issue. I'm experiencing the same issue that others are experiencing where the beachball appears for a fraction of a second then goes away. It's a minor issue but I do hope Apple fixes this in 10.9.2.

I don't have that option for some reason.

I'm still debating on whether to do a fresh install of Mavericks. That's a lot of work, time, and no guarantees. I've read on here that others tried that and the beachballs were still there afterwards.

Clean installing Mavericks does have it's advantages however, I did a clean install Mavericks and I am experiencing beach balls. You can debate whether or not you want to do it but I'll tell you if you do you might end up like me where it took an entire week to complete my upgrade process and even with that I'm experiencing these beach balls. It's probably best to just wait for 10.9.2 at this point, especially if others are saying they don't encounter the beach balls anymore.

It is a lot of work to do a clean install with no ultimate guarantees. I think I will wait for 10.9.2 then as some have said the beachballs have disappeared. If the beachballs were resolved, I would be a happy camper. Mavericks does run great on my MBP.
