Glass back detaching?

Hello all, long time follower first time poster. Camped out in Cleveland OH today got myself a 32 GB, everything's been great!...except for.......

I found out that when I tap on the left edge of the back of the glass there is a very audible rattle? I did some research and on older Iphones it was due to the autofocus component in the camera. I have the area marked in this picture. Is the glass not fixed correctly possibly?

Can anyone just try it out on their phone and let me know? I hardly have to tap the left edge and there's a loud rattling sound. Normal?
 
Crap. Yes positive it's not the volume/mute switch. What's my best shot for getting a replacement? Would it even be worth it to go back for a replacement at this point or just wait a little and go when the chaos dies down? It doesn't affect the performance of the phone, it's just annoying.
 
mine rattles by the camera too i thought it was the simtray at first.. plus my phone slid on my apple keyboard and scratched it by the home button. im thinking of taking this phone back.. too many strikes on it already.

Call the store where you got the phone, No one here knows how many iPhones they have in stock.

I have exactly the same issue. Slight shake and I get a rattle noise.

Think I'll be taking this one back!
 
You do realize the "rattle" you hear is the CAMERA right? The SAME rattle that happens in the 3GS.

Now you know. Don't panic, your phone is fine. Feel free to pass this along. :)

Why do you assume that? The 3GS had this rattle as well, and it’s the camera.

I'm tempted to take a youtube vid of this. It's loud. I do it on my 3GS and it doesn't sound like this.

Did you not read my post? The 3GS has the same RATTLE. It's the CAMERA. The one on the BACK, not the front. :rolleyes:

Dear god does anyone pay attention anymore?
