Glass protector for front/back?

I see a few people here are buying the glass screen protectors for both the front and back of the phone. Won’t a case be good enough for the back? Is an extra protector needed?

They are buying the glass for the back so they can still see it.. they will use bumpers or no case.

I went for a front & back protectors because I have always covered up my phones with cases but always wished I could use them naked but the 6S+ was just too slippery but with this being glass I wanted to protect it but still use the phone without a case
