no kidding, now are cars will get viruses. haha. i still wish somone would make a deck for a car where i can just insert my ipod and im set, have an lcd readout on the deck. i think that would be so sweet. the closest i have seen of this is honda's new element with the left and right audio ports. i think that is genius. get a y adapter and slap my ipod in there. right now i am running my ipod off of a fm transmitters. Note to people with cars and ipods: dont get fm transmitters, they suck. get a casstte thingy or something, unless you like static.
The guy mentions a "double button start reset" in the "metric radio edit" movie.
Must be Microsoft's automotive equivalent to "ctrl-alt-delete"
iJon, are you using the iRock?
I've heard several complaints about it's transmission quality.
Hopefully the new "iTrip" [manufactured by Griffin] which will be available in March will be considerably better. It allows you to use any frequency you choose instead of only the ones available on the iRock.
Plus it turns your iPod into an FM receiver and looks great with it.
Even rotates out of the way to allow access to the ports and controls on the top side of the iPod.

i am using the one that comes with the dr bott kit. its ok, ive got it so its about as good as you can get it. it isnt as clear as an actual radio station though. its good enough for having your ipod in the car. if i could have done it over i would have gotten the cassete tape thingy
but its nice to be able to take your ipod into any car or your friends cars.
Downloaded iDisk utility [per your advice] and when asked to enter a member name, I enetered "iJon" and also "iJon@mac.com" [just for *****s & gig's] but neither worked.
If you're using Mac OS X version 10.1 or later, choose Connect To Server from the Finder's Go menu and type http://idisk.mac.com/membername-Public (where "membername" is the person's .Mac member name). If the Public folder is protected with a password, type "public" in the username field and type the Public folder password in the password field.
