Glassbook trackpad tapping inconsistencies

taps are not registering all the time.

Anyone else?

It's so bad I don't want to use this thing.
The button is rather loud and i'd prefer not to go there.

I hope this is software.

I know Apple has already acknowledges a problem but i'm not sure what problem they are referring to exactly.

I don't have a new Aluminum MacBook but when they were released I had a feeling this problem may arise sometime.

Unfortunately it is definitely a hardware problem; but have you checked to make sure it isn't just your certain machine that has this problem? Did you go to an Apple Store to maybe see about that?

I have no problem at all with my Alu 2.4. And i only use the Tapping function!
