glitchy display after updating to OS 4.0, using 3GS!

can someone help me pls? My screen went glitchy with after updating and there wasn't anything I could do to resolve, tried restoring it was the same!
HELP!!!

Did you try a soft reboot not a restore? Sleep button and home button together. Mine was acting funny after the update, rebooted and all is well.

Mine's messed up too...sometimes the touch screen just stops responding and I have to shut the screen off and turn it back on again to get it to work
