i've noticed that when using safari (or any other program that enables the discrete GPU) and the discrete GPU is enabled then disabled, i still get random fluctuations in GPU wattage as shown by istat menus. I would have to completely close the program then open up the program to get the fluctuations in wattage to go away.
i noticed without triggering the discrete gpu, the graphics module wattage will always stay around 0.3-0.6 W. But once the discrete GPU is triggered then reverts back to integrated graphics, the wattage continues to fluctuate from 0.6-3.xx W.
This is just something i noticed and wondered if anyone else had a similar problem.
