Hello everyone!! News: it's progressing!!! For the first time in 45 days I left the "treatment" phase. Your item has been shipped!!! However, I did not receive any email for the follow-up!
Ordered on April 1. Max 4TB/32GPU/64GB.
Got my M1 Max 64GB, 2TB, on Tuesday; ordered on March 24th. So far I have zero complaints, the thing is near silent.
Low traffic here, so let´s do some meditation:
More than 500 believers here have been praying for the grace of being supplied with a Mac Studio, 2/3 of them Maxes.
They´re pretty vocal. May the miracle of early shipment be bestowed on them.
1/3+ have ordered Ultras. Early March believers were told 8 weeks. April fools much longer. No early shipments here.
Just a few prepare to be blessed next week, others keep their wows of silence. Maybe forever.
Or would you tell anybody that your worshiped fetish has arrived ?
My order status has changed from "Processing" to "Preparing to Ship".

FWIW, my Apple arrival date still hasn’t changed from 23rd–30th June, but UPS shows 16th May (unlikely given it hasn’t moved from HK).

Mine went from
Shenzen, China to
Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong. Where it stayed for 4 days before departing to
an unnamed Facility on the UPS app, took 4 hours to arrive here and it departed it 8 hours later, to
Koeln, Germany. Arrived 7pm and left half past midnight to
Stanford Le Hope, UK, where it waited a couple of hours before being sent to my nearest airport and was out for delivery the following morning.
Mine was ordered on April 23rd, from the Brazilian Apple Store (educational). Only 21 days ago! No changes so far.

Great! I'm still at "Preparing to Ship", but your details mean that my Max should be delivered Wednesday or Thursday.

I wonder about one point. Last night late I have my status which has gone from "treatment" for 45 days to ... "shipped" directly! While you have the status of "preparation for shipment". I didn't have this stage! In addition, I don't have any email or SMS from Apple for the tracking number. I have no idea where he is. The status is "your order has been shipped, you can no longer modify your device, you will receive a notification to pick it up from the Apple Store when it is delivered very soon. Strange, isn't it?
The screen capture in your post (#3428) suggests that you ordered your Max for pickup at an Apple store (Livraison au magasin & Prêt pour enlèvement), not for delivery to your home. If you tell Apple that you want to pick up your order at a store, I'm not sure that you get a tracking number and related shipping information. It's an internal Apple shipment, and you don't need to be home to sign for the computer or make alternative arrangements.
Maybe someone who has previous experience with store pickup can explain what the process is.

Apple may also think that a lot of the people who choose store pickup don't want to be bothered dealing with shipping and shipping details.

Apple is wrong even if I understand their logic. I actually have an Apple store 3km from home so the practical side is to pick it up WHEN I want without stress. In return, customers like me will not have this little pleasure of the information of the "preparation" and the detailed information of the follow-up. By being shipped on Friday evening (Paris time), when do you think I have a chance to pick it up at the Apple store? 1 week? 3 weeks?
( Apple always tells me 4/5 weeks on their website.)
I noticed that. Everybody else's delivery window has specific dates (e.g. June 27-July 11). I don't know if the way that Apple shows estimated delivery to you is particular to Apple's site in France or whether it's what happens when one chooses store pickup instead of home delivery.
In case anyone's interested, see the screen capture in @Pilou77's post #3428. For delivery, it says "4 Ã 5 semaines", which in English is "4 to 5 weeks". The same was shown in an earlier screen capture that he posted.

Well....my machine showed up at the store yesterday.
Ordered April 15th, so less than a month. Originally said delivery would be late July!

You've ordered the same specs as the five people in the post eight above (post #3441). If you haven't seen it, that post might give you an idea of actual wait time. Those people were originally given delivery windows of roughly the end of June/first two weeks of July. On May 3rd, Apple changed that to the last week of June.
My own specific dates are in post #3432. I think that my order is likely to change to "Shipped" tomorrow morning, and I expect to receive my Max this coming week. The other four are scheduled to receive theirs on Monday and Wednesday.
On April 28th, during its Q2 conference call, Apple said that coronavirus issues in China were slowing production, but it hoped to return to normal production levels by late June.

No update on shipping since it was picked up on Thursday. Anyone have any ideas when/where I should expect it to show up on its way to Australia?
Ugh; the funds are back in my account rather than ‘pending’ status. What does this mean?!
