Mine finally left Shenzhen about 4 hours ago and should arrive here on Thursday. I must say I am pretty excited. I haven’t had a Mac since my 2008 Mac Pro. (Max 32/64/2tb)

Anyone in Australia care to share what their TNT tracking history is like? Still stuck in Shanghai and wondering if its going to be here on time before I go away for the weekend.
 
I ordered a Mac Studio Max 32/48/1tb March 8th and was promised delivery March 30 - April 6th. They just charged my credit card and UPS says delivery planned for March 24th. A week earlier than promised. This replaces my old trusty Mac Pro 3,1 running 10.14.6.

I also ordered a Trebleet Silver Mac Mini Dock ($299.99) for use with this Mac Studio. Dock is Thunderbolt 3 connection and provides 4 additional 10 gb ports 3-A and 1-C), NVME and SATA drive bays, CFexpress Type-B, UHS-II SD 4.0/TF clots and a thunderbolt daisy chain port. I plan to add a WD SN850 2tb and a Sansung 860 EVO 2tb to augment the 1 tb drive in the Mac Studio. I hope to report the disk speed results for these dock based drives next week.

I was going to get the same dock but ended getting the Satechi Thunderbolt 4 Dock as it has 4 x Thunderbolt 4/USB4 ports + 3 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 10 Gbps ports, Gigabit Ethernet and SD Card slot for the same price. I think I got the last one from Best Buy because after I ordered mine last week, it says Sold Out.

What time did your order go through at? This is great to hear - Apple is trying to deliver a good few days ahead of their expected delivery timeline. Sounds as though they're expected delivery is a worst case scenario.

My base Max w/ 2TB just moved to preparing to ship. I am in the April 7-14 window. Ordered March 9.

One question, my preauthorization dropped off my credit card a few days ago and was not replaced. Is this normal and just charged before shipping?

Could somebody tell me how long did it take from “Preparing to Ship” to “Shipped” ?

Let's see if i could get an update or not today

I placed my order about 15 minutes after the store re-opened after the event.

My charge dropped off my card last Thursday. My Studio shipped today. Still don't see a new charge on the card.

i'm trying to figure out when did the online store open! My order for a similar spec'd machine to yours - went through at 7.40am Sydney time, but has a delivery timeline of 5th of May! I'm not sure how far off from the re-opening of the store did my order go through at.

It's mind-boggling the number of orders they may have received in the 6hrs or 24hrs to then have a waiting period of 8-12 weeks, and now its settled on the 10-12 weeks time. I recall having difficulty with their payment gateway - that it took 10-15 minutes for the pages to load for me to be able to enter my CC details for the order. I should have had it in the system - then my order would have been lodged sooner!

I called Apple as I wanted to change the credit card to be used. From what I understand from them, the card will only be charged when the status changed to shipped.
