If apple implements a gloss black option to look like the image below, they clearly know what they're doing. This will attract people who think nothings changed and want a redesign. It almost looks like the S7 phones

I would disagree and say that Apple is pandering to the "I want Black!" crowd to sell phones they ordinarily wouldn't sell.

That's my point. It makes the iPhone 7 feel fresh and will get more sales from those people

I am missing your point them, I'm sorry.

Because I don't see it as making it feel fresh. Apple could have simply reissued the 5s, the 6 and the 6s in "gloss black" and they'd sell because people have been wanting black back since the 5s did away with it.

Apple knows this so if they offer this color it's because they are goosing sales.

I want black back as well, but I'm not going to be manipulated to buy a phone I feel is fugly because Apple is only now offering the color to shore up sales.

Just my opinion. Not yelling. Or criticizing yours.

Scratches everywhere? Or isn't that a problem anymore these days?
Look up Neucase.

Neucase can do it. Proper anodization. A process Apple apparently decided was too costly to implement so went with less anodization which meant a lighter color. Hence Space Gray.

But if Neucase can do it, Apple can too. They just chose not to.

With the way Apple is nowadays I'm wondering if they will make Space Black an exclusive color for a premium priced model with exclusive features (like the dual-lens).

People are quick to praise the 32GB starting point but they forget that on the iPad Pro it meant the elimination of the 64GB and the next tier was 128GB for $150 more. So its entirely possible to see Apple gouging with a new pricing structure on the 7plus

$749 = 32GB Normal Camera
$900 = 128GB Normal Camera
$1000 = 128GB Special Black with new dual-lens camera system

Apple just seems to be looking for ways to cash in at every corner so I wouldn't put something like this below them.

Anyway, its all speculation now. Those mockup models seem to be all over the place so those photos can still be nothing close to reality. (But that didn't stop me from ordering a 7plus case. It arrives tomorrow from Amazon so this will be interesting)

Since it's the weekend before the announcement it should be 99.9 % true.

The fact that it's from KGI also makes it reliable, but we will know 100% next week :) really hope the "piano black" is real, I want one :D
