I'm assuming by "glossy" you actually mean the plastic case bezels seen around the edges of the screen. To my knowledge, Apple was the only company that actually spent the money to make the glass display cover larger than necessary just to give the front of the monitor the appearance that it was one giant sheet of glass with no case.
I'm sure there are glossy plastic cases out there, but glossy plastic is not the "in" thing anymore. In fact, I would bet most people associate glossy plastic as "cheap garbage" and prefer the machined aluminum or at least a minimal matte black/charcoal finish.
Either way, basing the purchase decision of the most important interface with your computer on the reflectiveness of the case around the display instead of the display itself just seems, and I don't say this to be mean, silly at best, and more likely just plain stupid.
