No, the top needs to not have any metal devices on top, because they obstruct wireless signals. The mini is cooled with intake ports on the bottom, and a exit port on the back. The top has nothing to do with cooling

it would be cool if you could stack minis, but i doubt that would be good for the machine

Yeah, I totally don't know about that. The other person's post saying he/she'd seen pics of it made me want to google for it, and when I found it, I just posted them.

I don't know what would be the point, either, from the standpoint that it'd probably still be slower than the slowest DP G5.

Sorry, my comment was made on the original pages about the Mac mini on apple.com. Decided to look in the knowledge base to see what I could find, and you all were right. My bad.
