i noticed a small bit of glue in between the seal of my iPhone, would this be something covered by apples warranty? Thanks

Sorry but can't see it.

I think you are making the right choice about contacting Apple. No way if my phone was perfect except for this that I would take the risk of exchanging . . .. not worth it!

I have a case on it anyway so meh, it’s one of those things. I have had so many iPhones I have had to exchange to Apple in the past for more worse defects than this so as you say I may as well keep this one instead of getting an exchange which may even have an even worse defect.

That ugly black line/oval is a huge eyesore that I couldn't live with, even with a case
It almost looks like someone took a Sharpie and wrote on your phone
Man, Apple's quality control has gone down the toilet hole

Here are some more images, makes it a bit more noticeable. I managed to get a but of paper in the gap but couldn’t remove the glue.
