I downloaded and the installer still says Beta ?

Is that accurate?

Should it say GM or nothing ?

The Beta part makes me think it is not the GM.

Is there a way to tell from the package contents if this is it or not ?

I have not heard anyone say that the current release 17a360a is the GM.

Supposedly 17a362a is the GM..... How can I tell version before I instal?

On the install Screen I expected it to have no Beta reference.

I understand it is a GM Candidate....

Is there a way to validate build number in the package contents so I can be sure it is what dropped today?

Full install. It won’t show up as an update. Lots of back and forth on this on the GM Seeded thread on the front page. Installing now.

As mentioned, this will not show up as an update. It's a full install package, like previous GMs. I enrolled my MacBook and downloaded from the provided download link after enrollment. However, even though it's a full installer, you can just install over top of a beta and it will update it, keeping your data. Do a backup though of course if necessary.

Thats just it, where do I get the software....I've gone through the beta.apple.com website several times and it just keeps looping me through the beta utility and then finishes and opens up App Store and it shows macOS High Sierra and just says open. If I open it it opens an installer and I accept all terms, etc. and then it just goes to sleep and shows a progress bar rapidly loads and brings me back to my login screen. When I sign in I'm still running the public beta 9. I don't get it....like what do I do...?? All of my data is iCloud data so I am happy installing a fresh copy how do I get it?

I had the developer then switched over to the Public Beta could that be a problem like maybe there’s some system confusion so it’s not bringing me the GM? I mean I could always revert back to Sierra setup everything as new but with all that I’ll just wait until the Public Version comes out and I’ll update then I’m not going through 2 hours worth of work to have the final build 9 days earlier I don’t even use my MBP that much anyhow.

I mean if someone knows how to fix this issue cool let me know please but if not yeah i’ll just wait.

I was waiting for the GM so I finally registered my 2017 iMac for the beta this afternoon and downloaded and installed it for the first time and it is the 17A362a GM candidate.

If you already have an installer for a previous beta downloaded, delete it and redownload.

Thank you that did the trick I had an old installer still installed and it wasn’t letting me get the GM Candidate until I uninstalled and then reinstalled the new installer. Thanks again! :)

So I installed the lastest beta 17A362a and even did a clean install from the restore menu but it still stuck the beta feedback assistant on the system. Is this correct and High Sierra just comes with the feedback assistant or am I still on "beta" rather than the actual final build?

Is the "10.13 beta" and feedback assistant going to go away comes September 25?
