I have a Gmail for Business account.

All email sent to me gets delivered to Gmail. In other words, if I log in to Gmail, all my email is there. But...

I don't get all the same email on my Droid Incredible and Mail (on my Mac). I get some here and some there. And it seems that if I read an email on one device it definitely won't show up on the other.

Any ideas on how to set everything up so every device gets the same emails?

And...do you have any "filters" set up at Gmail, or, "Rules" set up in Mac Mail?

How to set everything up so every device gets the same emails

This worked for me on my iPhone & iPad:
On your phone, set up your gmail account as pop mail and when it asks you for your user name enter recent:youremailaddress@gmail.com. As far as I know this only works with gmail.

I have Apple Mail set as imap on my desktop and my iPhone and iPad set as above. I get all message on all devices no matter which is checked first. Hope this helps. :)

Note: On iPhone and iPad you can not type the colon directly from the keyboard when you are in email settings. You have to open notes type recent: then copy. In mail settings / username field paste, then type the rest of the info. Also note that there is no space between the colon and the user name.

Should I be setting accounts up as POP or IMAP?

Gmail defaults to IMAP, which is preferable in most cases.
