Hi!:D

I've had Google Exchange setup on my iPad 2 for my mail & contacts etc. I recently changed my Gmail password and of course had to update the password on all my devices. I received a prompt on the iPad to reenter the Exchange password for my Gmail stuff which I did. Unfortunately though it seems like it stopped working for me since then. I've went multiple times into the settings and reentered the information to no avail. Now none of my contacts or calendars or mail will sync. I've searched around to see if anyone else had similar problems but wasn't really able to find anything like the problem I'm having here. My iPad is running iOS 6.1.3 and isn't jailbroken. Have any of you guys had this problem?

Gmail account requires CardDAV to access contacts

When Google dropped Active Sync support it caused this to occur.

You need to add an additional account, "other", and then select CardDAV Account. fill in your Gmail credentials (again) and you will be all set.

So you end up with an account for your mail and one for contacts.

My iPad was already setup with Exchange way before Google discontinued support. Google had said that existing users of their Google services on Exchange would not lose their functionality. And this only happened after I changed my password.
