Gmail filter issue

This is not really a Mac OSX issue but I figure others may be having this issue as well. Recently my gmail has been putting everything in my inbox and ignoring all the filters I've set up. So before, business news went into the business folder, shopping emails went to shopping, facebook went to facebook, etc. through filter settings of "skip the inbox" and "apply label xxx." Now all emails go straight to inbox with label applied. Also on the left navigation bar, I only see inbox and starred, and have to hover to see the rest of the folders.

Any ideas on solving this issue?

Installed Ming.ly which may be the issue. Uninstalled it but still not working 🙁
