Gmail Linked Accounts
I have 5 gmail email accounts that are for different purposes. They have been set up for years and one account is used as the master. In the settings, I have set the master account to check the other accounts and collect the mail there via pop mail. About a month ago, I changed the password on one of these accounts and soon after I was notified that there was an error checking the mail at that account. So I went into the master account, settings and updated that account with the new password, but the errors continue. I can't link this email account to my master account.

I was getting an "unable to get a secure ssl message". I played with the settings and nothing worked so I unlinked the account and tried to link it back into the master account. I'm still getting errors. In the problem account, pop mail is turned on and imap is disabled.

In the master account, if I try to link this email, which is accomplished in the Accounts and Import Settings Section of gmail, the following happens.

*For the target account, if I set POP server to pop.gmail.com, I get the message: Server denied POP3 access for the given username and password. Although the pass word works if used directly to sign into that gmail account. Note, the user name I'm using is the email address before @gmail.com. For example "fred.flinstone@gmail.com", I'm using fred.flinstone as the user name. This setup is what works for the other linked accounts.

*For the target account, if I set the POP server to smtp.gmail.com, I get the message: Unable to establish secure SSL connection to smtp.gmail.com although the other accounts where fetching mail from them works without issue, the POP server is set to smtp.gmail.com.

So I'm stuck. I want the master account to fetch mail from the all the other accounts and this is bugging me. Anyone know if Gmail has a support phone number? :):)

Help appreciated, thanks!
