Gmail inbox, a billion emails...

but in reality i have 0 unread emails on my phone, or on my computer. i don't have any alert badges on my phone either. anyone else having this issue, or know what to do?

You could try restarting the iPhone. Maybe the phone will update the email count.

thank you, but i have done a full reset...a couple of times, as well as restarted phone...a couple of times. nada.

Restore as new. First thing you do is set up the e-mail. If it doesn't work, take it to apple.
