Gmail is not working in desktop mode in Android.
I have two tablets and they are in basic HTML.
My iPad works just fine, using Google Chrome.
This started a few days ago when the option to switch to desktop was removed.
Now Gmail looks like a tinker toy.
On iPad requesting the desktop version of the Gmail site works.
Switch to mobile and you will see what I mean.
That is what I constantly get on Android.
