Gmail/Mail.app slowwwww

Has anyone noticed their Mail going awfully slow with Gmail these past few days??

Mine is really lagging and often times out when attempting to check for new mail. Could this be something on my end? Or is it a Gmail thing?

Its the same way with me.. are you using tiger? i noticed it got a little slower when i upgraded to tiger

Yeah... been like that all day... probably a server (or DNS) issue...

I use Mail App. to check my .mac email only. When I upgraded to Tiger, the mail app got really slow and sometimes it "sticks." It worked fine in Panther, but the Tiger version seems really buggy. Anyone know what to do? I've contacted Apple several times and I get no where.
