Gmail/Mail5.app

I've setup Gmail with Mail.app using IMAP but i can't send email. I get SMTP server is not responding message.

I also have my MobileMe account added and this works fine, it's just the Gmail.

any ideas?

Check your SMTP server/Outgoing mail settings. These sorts of things are almost always due to misconfigured settings.

i used the built in setup... then tried to change it manually but nothing 🙁

Maybe checking your settings in gmail might help.
