Does any else notice that their gmail now works with push mail in iOS 11?

I just tried it and it does seem to be working with push. Interesting...

Edit: I do notice that the options for Gmail is Fetch or Manual. And then the options for Fetch are Automatically, Manually, and a few time intervals. When Automatically is selected, the note at the bottom states "Your iPhone will fetch new data in the background only when on power and Wi-Fi".

I turned off wifi and it doesn't seem to be pushing, so I guess it's not what I was hoping for with real push for Gmail in native Mail.

I believe Gmail push (“Automatic” in Settings) works when connected to WiFi and plugged in to power source, from what I recall of the beta discussions

I tried this earlier today and it only works when connected to power and on wifi. If I either disconnected power or turned wifi off it would not push the emails instantly. Kind of a bummer but possibly one step closer to getting that gmail push back.

Works for me without being connected to power, but not if wifi is off. So close. Wonder why the wifi stipulation.
