GMail Push Support Possible?

I'm trying to get my gmail acct to push my email thru to the iPhone. The phone doesn't offer me the option of push, lol am missing some crucial step or am I condemned to forwarding to my MobileMe acct?

The phone has nothing to do with it, the servers do. And until the servers support it, your phone won't magically make gmail push your mail.

its not possible. gmail doesn't offer push support so there is no way to have it pushed to your phone.

It technically IS possible but it would require some configuration of auto forwarding setup on your non me.com email.

Plus the 'from' would more than likely have to be different from the 'real' from of what it should be since you'll be using me.com outgoing server.

Ahhh, thanks for the responses. I was under the impression that Gmail had the push servers up already. I thought there was a google mail app for windows mobile/blackberry? Guess not.

yes, there probably is. doesnt mean its push though
