I have no 'deal' if I'm not a Gmail user, and I can't stop the recipients of my email using it, or even know if they are using it or not.
If I turn off Apple Intelligence but leave it on in individual apps, does Apple still collect my data? It's a pain to go to every app and turn it off. Three choices are on by default.Because Apple Intelligence in mails is so much better
Nah, they need more data than paying customers can produce, so they prefer to open the eavesdropping facility for free. Of course, we pay otherwise.I sense a lot of "cloud services are bad, settle for less to protect privacy" kind of vibe here.
I for one am happy they don't go crazy on this rot.Incredible how Alphabet has adopted AI to their fully verticially integrated AI-system.
Alphabet is firing on all cylinders while Apple remains "AI = Apple Incompetence".
Yeah, me too, but on the server side, we don’t know if this AI assistant is reading all of our mail.I run my Gmail through the Apple email client. It keeps things nice and simple.
It does.Yeah, me too, but on the server side, we don’t know if this AI assistant is reading all of our mail.
Przepraszam, piszę tylko w wersji amerykańskiej po polsku.I want to apply polish, not Polish 🇵🇱 (as it says in the article).
Of course it is. It’s Google.Yeah, me too, but on the server side, we don’t know if this AI assistant is reading all of our mail.
"...without paying"...for now!
The problem isn’t that much if we use it or stop using it, but also many professionals use Gmail as their email service. And everything we send to them will be scrutinized and “learned” by their AI.Awesome! Now I can… still not use them. 😏
Gmail has never been about folders. It's about labelsWhat GMail users CAN’T do is create folders so they can take their entire AI riddled website and keep it.
I know, that’s what I’m complaining about.Gmail has never been about folders. It's about labels
