Love my S7 edge.
OLED screen, one hand usability, fast charge & nice camera too. But I've come to realize I'm an apple fanboy.
Iphone 7 to me is not an upgrade.
Should I go big with 7plus or go home to my Android?

Well if you've already got the Samsung. Just hang on to it for 10 more months and maybe upgrade to the 7S Plus.

There won't be a "7s", the "iPhone 8" will be a complete revamp. Also, the OP was asking for the 7 Plus or Android.

Word on the street is there could both a
7S/Plus and a 8.

I was figuring with the tenth anniversary iPhone, we will see a complete re-design and allegedly a new title. But I have read we will see three screen variants (4.7,5.1.5.5).

Hahaha of course there won't be an iPhone 8 next year - that's just been made up by rumour sites, fanboys and those trying to create media interest. Timmy won't do anything sentimental for an anniversary of a phone lol. All Apple care about now is margins. Expect the iPhone 7s and the same form factor. iPhone 8 will be 2018.

I think Apple could do the usual iPhone 7s upgrade but also include an anniversary edition "iPhone S" that has the new features like the OLED screen and integrated home button for a premium price.

Well if you prefer to have an iPhone then I'd say go for the 7 plus. Life is too short to wait until next September. I had the S7 edge and the 6S plus and I sold both and got the 7 plus. Once Apple made the plus it was curtains for Samsung for me.

If you like crap software stick with the Samsung. If not go with iPhone. Since you decided to bring your dopey question asking everyone their opinions. There's mine

Good Advice! But I'm not really sure I could wait that long. lol

If the rumors is true, I suppose only the big boys like 5.5 gets the OLED & true flagship specs.

Then I see no reasons why Apple keeps Ive Jony if that is the case. To come up with a new antenne band in the shape of an apple logo in existing form factor for the next iphone?

Interesting! That might happen.

In my case, I sold 6s plus for S7 edge, annual upgrade a 7 and sold it for the money. Yeah, life's short.

Your money, you need to make the choice.
Yeah, my money my choice. Just needed advices to make a wiser choice. Haha.

Apple has had zero success with anniversary branded products.
If the next iPhone has a different design it won't be because suddenly people in the company wake up and think "lets change the entire design of the device because of the anniversary!" But because they found an improvement of sorts that attracts customers.

Dude, 7 Plus all the way! It's such a beast of a phone and the it currently has the most color accurate display on the market. Would I love deep blacks given by OLED? Yes, but I also love the face of never having to worry about burn in as I'm a pilot and use the same application and display content for hours on end. It's basically perfect internally. Once they make a form factor of an S7 Edge, or at least more like it, it'll be amazing.

I use to have the galaxy s7 bought it a week after it came out and it was terrible, had to be charged like 3 times a day. And lagged constantly it was the biggest piece of junk ever for me. I use to hate iPhone and said I would never own one. But I figured I would try one since my galaxy was such a pos. I now have the regular 7 and love it. The battery life it was better and it doesn't lag constantly. Oh and there's a few things I miss about the galaxy like fast charging and wireless charging. But there not worth enough to deal with the issues.
[doublepost=1480264614][/doublepost]Oh and I owned 1-7 galaxy s series and 3-5 notes. The s4 and note 3 was probably the best phone's Samsung made.

I have both the S7 edge for work and iphone 7 plus for personal. I like the S7 edge, but I will say I have a few gripes. Fingerprint scanner doesn't work most of the time on the first scan. I have to rescan. The phone seriously lags badly, especially after a reboot. It takes a while for it to catch up. Battery life is pretty pathetic. It will get me through a day, but not even hardly using it the battery drains fast. Unlike my iPhone I get through a whole day and it still shows 70% by bedtime.

Android is still behind the times....glad when they took my Note 7 from my hands, I got the 7 plus. I may never leave now.

Meaning software outweights hardware, brain outweighs body & engine outweighs car

Oh yes, forgotten all about the burn-in issues. Guess that's the form factor we all are hoping for in the next iphone. Aye Captain!

If you live near an Apple store visit it and have someone go over the 7plus with you. Then, if you like it, get one.
Love its specs, hates the size. Love the standby time, hates the charging time. Can't decide still.

Do agree with the lag but will definitely miss the fast charging. Happy that you've finally found a right phone for yourself.

I find that the fingerprint scanner is worse than the 1st gen touch id & the standby battery life is making me going crazy too.
