Good then, add one more person to the "I hate CompUSA" list. Hopefully they either get themselves restructured MASSIVELY, or go out of business.

Yes I hate CrapUSSR.

I have the solution for you kid. Just don't go in there...

I am pretty sure they don't have a magnetic things that pulls you over anytime you pass in front of their door... people here can be so s... sheees!!!

Stop the hate please!

As mentioned by compusaguy, my compusa, which is too far away, has an Apple employee working the apple section 5-6 days a week. He is a good resource, and can put in memory cheaper than when ordering from apple. BUT you can't get education discount on applecare! But call apple when you get home and get it..........so no biggie.

Actually it's not cheating. The ad saids trade ins. Also, CompUSA have techs to look over the laptop before it goes on the shelf to be sold. It's very good business for both the consumer (get a new computer) and seller (earn more $ from selling new and "preowned" computers).

So I'm going to sell a car that has an intermittent ignition problem that causes the motor to shut off on the freeway sometime. I'm going to sell it to a mechanic, who is going to drive it around the block and think it's ok, and not tell him about the intermittent problem because he's a mechanic and should know better.

Thanks for clearing that up.
