TDM21 macrumors 6502a Mar 25, 2007 #4 I believe the recommendations for the batteries used in Apple laptops are to drain the batteries to about 50% and store outside the MacBook. This page talks about the batteries used in the PPC laptops which shouldn't be much different for the Intel portables.
