Going away (1 month or more) and storing MacBook - Questions

Should I completely deplete the battery, remove it and store it seperately from the MacBook? Also, any other measures I should take? Obviously I'll be storing the MacBook in its EZ cover, in a cool dry dark place.

Leave it charged, if the battery *completely* discharges it may fail to work.

Leave the battery ~50% charged. Best way to go about it according to Apple.

I believe the recommendations for the batteries used in Apple laptops are to drain the batteries to about 50% and store outside the MacBook.

This page talks about the batteries used in the PPC laptops which shouldn't be much different for the Intel portables.
