Going from Final Cut Pro 6 to FCP 7

I have installed Final Cut Pro 6.01 on my Mac,
and just got Final Cut Pro 7...

Should I remove the old install , or just Upgrade my FCP ??

I did the upgrade, then put the FCS 2 disc back in to re-install LiveType.

Uninstalling one of Apple's big pro suites seems like it could be a chore.

You might want to use a tool like FCS Remover http://www.digitalrebellion.com/fcs_remover.htm to clean out all of misc. files that Final Cut stores in preference folders. I had some slight problems list time I used it though, it got rid of some files used by Aperture.

Upgrading gave me no problems at all.
