I'm sorry if there is already a thread about this but I couldn't find it...the forum search never works on my iPhone for some reason. Anyway, for the people with an iPhone on Verizon: if you so desire to get the new iPhone (whenever it comes out) how will you go about doing so? Can you sell your iPhone 4 or does that not work with Verizon?

I intend to sell my iP4 and get the new one. I'll probably just end up sticking with the iP4 though.

I am intending to sell my iPhone 4 on craigslist and purchasing the new iPhone when it comes out. Depending on whatever I sell it, I will use that money plus a bit of my own to purchase the newer iPhone.

I going to stick with the iPhone 4 and skip this new version of the iPhone if it releases and get the next one. I'm happy with the iPhone 4 and love it to death. Plus, this is my first ever iPhone btw :)

So you can sell your iPhone on Verizon with no problem? How exactly would you go about doing that? Thanks.

I may use my beloved upgrade, or not. Depends on the screen size. I ****ing hate 2 year contracts.

I would erase and sell my old phone, then call and activate the new phone.

When you erase the old phone and sell it, how does that deactivate that phone until you go buy your new phone?

Oh wait, you would go ahead and buy the new phone and then activate it thus deactivating your old phone, right? Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Yeah, basically. Or if you want to go without a phone while you sell it and look for a new one, a simple call to Verizon would probably do the trick.

I will definitely have a new one lined up before I go off selling my old one. So I'll take care of them both simultaneously.
