I've owned one heck of a lot of Smartphones. Even a Galaxy Note. A phone that sold in huge volume, surprising everyone even Samsung.
In my case I use a smartphones features, all of them. Something that not everyone does. I use it like a laptop replacement when waiting in lines at airports, hotels, or anywhere it's busy & a wait is involved. I also read an interesting report about people like myself that are highly mobile and find it so much faster an easier to use a phone while standing or sitting for short periods of time. Only 9% of the time do we use ours as phones. At least that's my pattern & the results of two national surveys.
Therefore connecting on the net with my company, doing research, all business functions I use the net for are far more easy to accomplish when one has a spacious display. Tasks like these are very hard to do & take far more time using the tiny iPhone screen. Scrolling required is endless as compared to the Note. So, the bottom line is only you know how you work and what you need.
