So I am for sure getting a MacBook Pro this summer with AppleCare, (purchased in the U.S.) and will be living in London starting next January. If anything goes wrong with my MacBook Pro while I'm there, can I just take it to an Apple store in London for service? (How many Apple stores are there in London?) Anyways, just curious.

yes, you can also take it to any of the authorized repair shops. I took my ipod touch into one in spain and they fixed it free of charge.

have fun in the UK

As others have said, yes you can take it to [almost] any Apple Store including the 3 in London for repairs. Have fun in the UK, I've always wanted to go there.
