and I want to use my iPhone 3g for the web. I'm on O2, what will happen when I land in Spain? Will I still be able to use my iPhone to make calls and surf the net?

Cheers for the wuick reply mate, can you give me an idea on how much?

How about a simple 5 mins on the net?

No idea of pricing, but the phrase, "dollars to the megabyte" comes to mind. Just turn off data roaming while you're over there.

Depends on the site you're on. Text only and you might not be too bad but it can still add up quickly.

I'd turn data roaming off in your settings unless you plan on using it. Calls/texts aren't quite so bad.

Cheers guys.

Data roaming? Can someone please explain what it is and why I should turn it off?

Data Roaming is... data use... while roaming. Using cell data when you're not on O2.

You should turn it off so you aren't charged an extortionate amount of money for using your iPhone.
