Going to use Bootcamp...

strictly to be able to play some PC games. If I ONLY install games through Bootcamp, what are the chances of getting a virus or corrupting my beloved new iMac? I guess for updates the game I am loading will go to the manufacturer's website to access the update, correct?

I am scared of using any PC related device now...

Virus that infect the Windows OS will not affect the Mac OS.

Of course you will need to be careful on the Windows OS side like you would with a regular PC.

Updates should be available via the game manufacturer's web site.

Seriously! Don't use Norton, it slows down your computer to DEATH. AVG is free and its better than anything out there! I use it on my Boot Camp partition and it works flawlessly!
