I'm going to Vegas after New Years and was wondering on suggestions for dinners? Googling has me on overload and I'm over my head. Interested in the typical stuff steak, Italian, Asian (sushi, and more traditional etc)

Staying at Aria if that helps on location.

Also open on ideas on what to do. Everyone in my group is over 21 :p I'm not big on gambling/clubs. Only going for for what else, The Vegas Knights hockey game.

Thanks!!

Great Chinese food at Lillie's in the Golden Nugget casino. The Sterling Brunch at Bally's is outstanding. Cut is a great steakhouse and Carson Kitchen is a good breakfast/lunch spot.

In Vegas the food used to be a great deal price wise to lure you to a particular casino, now not so much, some are expensive, not worth the price imo, but a disclaimer, I’ve not been there in 5 years. As a rule, the older casinos (like the Golden Nugget) and off the main strip, have more economically priced buffets, while the newer one like the Wynn can be expensive. I’d say all have good food, just check the cuisine, if not a buffet, and look at the $$ ratings to make a determination. :)

When I used to go there for work, stayed at a Westin across the street from the Ellis Island Casino, which had a nummy steak and egg breakfast for under $10. Hmmm. :)

i would suggest taking a small introduction to the craps table. It can be really fun.

Otherwise maybe head down to old Las Vegas to see the old strip.

I suggest you state your budget range if you want relevant, targeted answers. Las Vegas has a wide variety of restaurant offerings.

Best of luck.
We are going to enjoy ourselves. a few nice dinners/evenings won't kill us

Craps is my game, when we do gamble (which isn't all that frequent). It's amazing to watch the table staff work, it has good odds (in the context of casino games), and when things get hot there's a ton of energy / excitement. The good bets are all pretty simple, learn how make odds bets, avoid the sucker bets - have fun.

Julian Serrano in Aria is good. Next door, try Scarpetta at the Cosmopolitan. Across the street outside Paris, try Mon Ami Gabi for breakfast. For the best hamburgers—drive to Bachi Burger.
