Silly question. Obvious answer - no of course not, Anodised aluminium does not fade!!
 
Ask me again in a couple of months..:) I tend to keep my phones in a case though...the Champagne is a departure from the normal black / slate that I usually buy...Looking forward to having something different this time around, and a nice Cognac brown case to go with it...should show off the accent around the home button well.
 
Fade? I've never seen a black iPhone fade in color so my guess is no.
 
If it does fade you will have gotten a two-fer!
