Got this email earlier today. Pre-ordered the edition 30 minutes after launch at midnight and it looks like were just now going to be getting them. Any other posts or threads regarding people having the edition model already is most likely the $399 plated option or fake. Just FYI. Anyone else?

I take it these are being delivered via some sort of private courier service as opposed to the commoners UPS service...?
Where does that say Edition is available in store on launch day?
The only mention of edition in that entire article is "Neither store will offer the Apple Watch Edition, as it is backordered."
I'm fairly certain edition was not available on launch day. Even those who ordered it right at 12:01AM had an initial ship date of May.
Read the fine print on what you just posted to me. "Neither store will offer the Apple Watch Edition, as it is backordered." Edition models were not sold on launch day to anyone with the exception of some top hollywood stars and actors. Do some research buddy.
I have a personal friend who was one of the first to wait in line at the Mayfield location and I can confirm it did not sell the Edition on launch day.
They told me they will make sure they arrive at the most convenient time so I am not really sure how that will work, but definitely not UPS or Fedex lol.
Dover Street Market store London and Beijing had editions in limited quantities on launch day.

Actually, the purchase is an investment towards something and will probably return me two-fold.
