Took these pictures this morning while the Ipad 2 and accessory boxes were delivered by FedEx in front of the hungry line.

Don't even think about grabbing a box and running off with it!

OH CALM DOWN PEOPLE. Those boxes don't necessarily represent all of the stock that the store will have!

No, those were not the only boxes being rolled into the store this morning. There were many others. And I didn't stay long enough to know if there are more FedEx trucks, I was walking my dogs.

I lived only three short blocks away below 14th Street, will go back shortly to look at the line and to see if they have the demos out yet to play with. I also want to touch and feel the smart covers too to see if I want to buy one.

Do you ever see this for Andriod events ???

NOPE!! Haha. I don't think we ever will either. I just said to my girlfriend this morning, "There's no other product launch where will people will camp out overnight or get up at 4:00 in the morning to buy one." It's kind of crazy when you think about. We are all flew blown nerds :D.

The camera is the Samsung NX10, with the 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 lens. All the shots were taken across the street and then cropped and resized. I am glad the weather is getting much better now after last night's horrendous downpour. It would have been awful for those waiting in line.

I think that school safety police car was looking for highschool kids trying to skip school for an ipad. LOL

It is crazy, but it's also how I view Apple stock. When the lines are no more and the stores are not insanely packed on a Sat afternoon... I'll know it's time to cash out.

Went back to the store during lunch. The line is almost reaching 10th Ave, most likely will wrap around the block by 5PM.

First in line!!

Nice pics. Gave me an idea... pass out LOTS of bottled water to people standing on line... wait twenty minutes and offer to hold their spot.... :D

Wrong. You cash out when its hot, not when it's dead. Like the anecdote about Joe Kennedy realizing it was time to cash out in 1929 before the crash when the guy shining his shoes was giving him stock tips. Geez -- how many people think Apple is a bad stock to own right now?

That is one bad azz camera, the pictures are so crystal clear. just seen how much they are going for on Amazon. They are in the same range as ipad prices lol. I was hoping you were gonna say you took them with an iPhone 4 :D
