The camera is the Samsung NX10, with the 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 lens. All the shots were taken across the street and then cropped and resized. I am glad the weather is getting much better now after last night's horrendous downpour. It would have been awful for those waiting in line.

Wow, I'm on the look out for a good camera, Cnet UK gave it an editors choice award. The Pics are soo sharp, I was shocked these pics weren't taken from a DSLR.

The price is similarly down my alley, samsung aren't recognised for their cameras, but I'm going to have to give this one a shot.:D

The NX10 has a larger sensor than the Canon 7D DSLR ( 23.4 x 15.6mm vs 22.3 x 14.9 mm ) so I don't see what all the fuss is about. BTW the NX11 is out.

Yes, the NX10 is not a DSLR in the sense that it does not have the mechanical mirror system and pentaprism. Like joe1946 mentioned, it does have the APS-C-sized sensor, and it uses interchangeable lenses, just like in most DSLR bodies. It does it all in a light-weight and small form factor, just like an Ipad compared to most laptops:D
