Not sure what capacity phone this is, but he may want to try again using say the 64GB model. The extra flash chips may add some extra protection :p

Of course the bullet easily penetrated it, everyone knows that gold is a soft metal.

Also, there's no such thing as a typical American and, even if there were, he would not be it.

Why do they do this? Because it annoys the people they want to annoy....They are probably cruising the web looking for people whining about it to laugh at.

Jesus what's with all the American bashing in this thread?

Two goofballs with too much time on their hands shoot up an iPhone and all the sudden they represent over 300 million people?

I think most of you are better than this.

Yes there is. Stereotypes exist for a reason. You can stereotype every culture.

If you don't believe in that, make sure to tell the police to look for 75 year old white women when your car gets broken into. ;)

Yeah sure

Everyone is fine with stereotypes until they end up on the wrong side of one.

Rolls eyes? It's completely true :). If someone's child gets abducted, they use history to stereotype in order to have an efficient search. What kinda of people generally abduct kids? 60+ year old black males? 60+ year old women? 18 year olds? Nope. First thought in anyone's mind is a white male between 30-55 or so. Why? Because they have created that track record or trail if you will.

So again, if you don't believe in stereotypes, make sure to tell the FBI to not focus on white males if your child gets abducted (only using this example to prove a point, I hope no child ever gets abducted again obviously) , and see how effective that will be...

----------

That's just it though, the US has MANY cultures...each completely different than the next.

This would be like watching a video of an Aborigine and claiming that they are representative of all Australians.

Let me ask you something.. How would you stereotype someone from Sweden?

I agree that's very American. It's a guy with obviously a lot of money (slow mo camera, firearm, phone, etc) who is gonna make even more money from people viewing that video.

Hate all you want your view made him some money. So in reality who is the stupid one?

Actually, most child abduction cases are perpetrated by a close family member or family friend, so if an Asian, Hispanic or Black kid goes missing, I would hope the FBI wouldn't be excluding everyone but 30-55 yo white males.

In any event, even if this demography were most responsible, the FBI (hopefully) wouldn't make clumsy blanket statements like those being made in this thread.

You get the idea though. If cops spent all day pulling people over who are 60 years old driving a Mercedes, they won't get anywhere. They NEED to profile and stereotype. Otherwise they would be the worst cops ever.

Hell, we all do this naturally every day we go outside. You walk downtown and you see an alley way with three black guys wearing hoodies and then you see the next one who has two white guys wearing suits, which alley will you go down?

You just stereotyped and profiled. We do it everyday and its a necessity.

Revision 3>RatedRR is a Discovery channel digital production. It's no different from Mythbusters or Amish Mafia or Honey BooBoo. It has more to do with absurdity and hype and less about reality.

Get over yourselves.

Would your choice be different if the black guys were wearing the suits and the white guys were wearing the hoodies?

If you judge someone based on their actions, you're good in my book. When you judge based on ethnicity or country of origin, you're not.

Yeah my choice would be different. Anyways, I forgot we are on an apple forum.

Cheers

Funny since, without evidence, pulling people over based on profiling and stereotypes is illegal...and would make them the worst cops ever.

Am I down by Wall Street or up in Harlem? The answer would be vastly different based on my surroundings and what would be considered the norm for the area.

If I were in Chinatown, I would likely avoid BOTH alleyways.

What I would not be foolish enough to do though, is assume the same answer for anywhere, make generalized stereotypes for all people in an area, let alone an entire country as you do.
