There's no such thing as genuine Apple parts on eBay. Unless they've been stolen or something. 99.99% chance that they are not genuine.

Isn't it possible to use a donor iPhone with OEM parts? :rolleyes: That wouldn't make it stolen....it'd just make it extremely idiotic lol.

Consider that in the "or something" category. Parts from a donor iPhone are usually not available in volume and are a lot more expensive.

If he had two phones, dropped one and broke the screen, boom!...he has a donor. Heck, even if he were to take apart a new phone, with the $2800 asking price he's more than making up his money :cool:
