I love mine. The white bands aren't bad in person. The gold is a tad darker than my 5s. I think it looks great!
I like that it is more noticeably gold then my 5s. Several people were surprised to find out that my 5s was the gold one, but this one is much more obvious, looks great to me.
Looooove it! Definitely more ~gold~ than the 5s, and honestly I was sort of wanting it to be more of a champagne, but I'm still very happy with it. Very chic, very beautiful. Feels like a brand new phone for me since I'm coming from two generations of black phones.
I got gold mainly because I was tired of black and silver. I really like it though for a change.
Got the gold after having the gold 5s. It seems to be a darker shade, but it looks nice. The white lines look much better in person.

Darker? Isn't it supposed to be more yellow gold on the 6/6+ compared to champagne on the 5s?
My wife's gold is about 100 times nicer-looking than I expected it to be. In-fact, I like it better than my space gray.
I've had white, black, and space grey iPhones in the past. The iPhone 6 is my first "gold" one. I am enjoying it so far. A refreshing change for me!
wanted space grey but ended up with gold with the crazy app on pre order night, i didn't really care what color at the time as i will use cover, but now that i have gold i like it best of all of the colors
my only concern is how much better is it to watch a movie on a black border vs. white? i will obviously be watching most movies on a TV so how much would this matter?
