    Hi guys.

I have the stock 500GB@7200rpm drive from Early 2011 model.
Recently, I reached to a point where all I have is 60GB left and wanted to get a bigger drive.
I do have external drives but they are all full and hate how you have to plug it in and wait for the data to be transferred.

So is there any good 1TB HDD (5400rpm if there is 7200)?
Im afraid that it might die on me since many people claim 2.5in 1TB HDD fails a lot.

I am also getting Optibay soon so I would want a bigger HDD.

    Thanks in advance.

No platter based hard drive is more reliable than any other. Buy the one with the best warranty that fits your budget and size requirements.

My budget is about $150 for HDDs.
I do seek for ones with best warranty but losing data isnt a fun thing.
Even though its covered, lost datas are hard to recover.

And I heard that WD Scorpio Blue fails continuously so I wanted to hear opinions on HDD from the forum.

    Thanks! I'll look into them!
I checked Amazon and they had a great review on it :D

ya not just because I have one but ive read many good reviews on it, you might find some complaints on forums but if you looks at reviews by magazines, websites and companys that review computer products i think you will find mostly good reviews on the samsung spinpoint
