good 2d platformers

after playing braid, i really miss those old 2d platform games i used to play long time ago.
anyone know any other great 2d platformer games that is available for mac? classics or new ones.

For Mac? All I can think of is Cave Story. And for shame! Whilst Braid was okay you've missed out on many good platform games, albeit for PC only.

Mister Stumps Dentures, Bonesaw, Alex Adventure, Knytt Stories, Cortex Command, Satan Sam (😉), Noitu Love 2. The system specs for all them aren't high and could run on Parallels/Crossover quite well.

i did try kyntt on bootcamp. great game to kill time!

Braid's pretty amazing.

I'm gonna have to push The Fancy Pants Adventures, but I'm pretty biased, heh. Just a Flash game, and fairly short, unless you try to get everything, but there's not all that many 2d platformers out there being made anymore...

A quick search came back with Super Cow. I don't know anyone who's played this game, or if it's really a platformer, but It's all I found.
