Good Backup Software

Ok we have three macs, two laptops and one desktop, the desktop is 10.3 and the one laptop is 10.4. We need some sort of backup software because Time-Machine doesn't work on them. Silver Keeper, the program we tried, has many issues with it. Can anyone recommend a good bit of software?

I did uso chronosync once, but after losing half of my life in a drive, I want to know if there is any way to mirror the HDD from apple (and a 500gb iomega)

SuperDuper's Smart Update feature is about as simple and fast as it gets for full bootable backups. It saved all my data on one occasion many moons ago, so it was more than worth the registration fee for me 🙂.

thank you everyone for all the ideas. So far Chronosync is the only program working on my desktop, and it is doing pretty good.
