I know there are good books for previous versions of XCode. Are there any good ones that have been updated for the latest code from Apple? I really don't feel like hacking through (not to mention paying for) books that are for previous versions and no longer apply. BTW, I am an experienced programmer with practical knowledge of C, C++ , Java ... and a bunch of other languages that might show my age.

I've checked though the forums and it seems that most of the books available now are oriented to 2.0. I am aware of Hillegass, but don't know if his recent book on Cocoa is built on 3.0 or 3.1.

Help, please ...

I've been using the one by hillgass. It's a great book. I also have a background with C++ so we have that in common. Hillgasses book is great for learning cocoa, it's very simple and very well done. I quite enjoy it!
