Good College Apps

Hi everyone. I'm in college, and am starting to get sick of making notecards and and study-guides. Long story short; are there any good 3rd party osx apps for studying? These could include virtual notecards, where you input the word and definition, or just other generally useful college applications. Thanks!

One of the applications that I use at Uni to memorize things is called Genius (link). It's a virtual notecard application that is really smart in the way that it presents the information.
