I've been offered the chance to buy a macbook. Specs:

    2.16 GHz, White macbook
    2+ years left of AppleCare
    2 GB RAM
    120 GB HDD
    incase sleeve
Office 2008 Home and Student (Sealed box)
Leopard upgrade disc (Original discs were tiger)

    $975

It'll be for a 2nd computer, to go with my PC Desktop.

I'd say yes then since it's cheaper than a comparable refurb + apple care + sleeve + office included.

Good deal..also don't worry about the processor bump...you are not going to notice the difference...and if you think you are just buy some ram, plus its a second computer.

    Thanks for the help, guys.

I ended up taking it - had to make the decision quick. It's in amazing shape, and it's honestly probably faster than I need it to be (I've got my desktop for anything that I have to crunch numbers for.) The incase sleeve is really nice as well.
