i would just look for a deal for the $30 iphone 3g dock

avoid ebay, there are TONS of Chinese replica's

Sorry I didn't include this in my first post.
I have a ipod nano 2G and Ipod Touch 2G. I don't have an iphone yet 🙁

I would get the universal and if you get it for $25 then it is a very good deal.
