Good Keyboard For Beginners?

I always wanted to learn how to play a piano/keyboard, so I signed up for a class in the summer (free for high school students, aha).

What is the best keyboard for beginners?

I was just on Woot and they had an M-Audio 49-key for just $49.99 + $5 shipping. Is this a good deal for me, or should I be looking for something else?

You need to be looking for something else. The M-audio is something you use with your computer. So unless you're allowed to bring a laptop to class with you, look for a keyboard that can be played without having to hook it up to a computer. Just go to a local music shop and pick out a cheap keyboard. No reason to spend a ton of money since you're just beginning.
